    Default What about the revenue?

    Hi guys!

everything looks pretty new here, cool!

But i got a question, what about the revenue I've read here: "Earn money from your traffic with our revenue sharing system: you'll be paid for displaying our advertising campaigns."

    Hi and welcome in,

Our revenue sharing system it's the way we can keep the service free and, on the other hand, give a earning to webmasters, depending on their traffic.

What kind of account did you choose? I mean is your site an AlterSite or an Alterblog?

    Nevemind you're welcome

That's the way it works: go to your control panel and click on Revenues & Ads (it's placed on the navbar on the top). Then select Manage Advertisements and simply choose the advertisement you prefer.

Mind that the advs you put on the top of the page get an higher revenue than those you place at the bottom.

By clicking on Your Revenues you can constantly check the status of your revenues.

No, sorry but this is strictly forbidden in our terms of service (6.9): you just can run advertisements provided by AlterVista.

    Ok, one last thing.

this AlterCent sounds a little strange to me, what does it stands for?

It's pretty easy: AlterCent is AlterVista's currency, which you can accumulate free of charge using advertisements, or by taking part in community activities.
You can also purchase Altercents with a credit card or PayPal (see AlterBank).
You can spend AlterCent, for example to plan recurrent back up of your database (Tools), considering that for an AlterBlog the web space and the bandwidth is unlimited

    Default placing of advertising

hello, i'm pretty new here and i would like to know:
    1) do i have to place codes on my own in new text fields or do you count just the banner that is already inserted in my page?
    2) may i place several banners in my blog or do i earn money just once for all banners placed in my page?
    thank you very much!

    italopitechi:

    1) Both banner you already have in your page and the new ones you put
    2) Even if you repeat a banner the earning is the same, the best way is to combine formats but you don't have to exceed in the number of banner placed if you dont want to have ads disabled
