website still won't work

I set up my website (http://woodmandj.altervista.org/) months ago, but search engines still can't find it.

I did things suggested like pinging crawlers, adding links on working website, but ......still nothing.

I see only the default index page, where's your website?

I haven't put anything on the Index page yet, but I did put in a first test folder (magicDoor) with a test movie (magicDoor.mov) - but the browsers all say that the site doesn't respond
