With the cloudflare set up, I can get to the site now. However, I still cannot access the FTP. Pings and tracert simply time out with no response. Can anything be done to get access to FTP?

sorry for the late answer. The behaviour of ping is ok, you can check if you can reach the FTP server just trying to connect to it with a client or telnet.

Also having an issue connecting to my webpage. it was working fine up until a couple days ago. Cant manually connect with ftp anymore just times out. Any suggestions?

great, keep us updated.

I can reach en.altervista.org for account management, although the editor does not save updates to the default home page. I did upload a file through the main website and did set up FTP accounts. DNS resolves but neither web nor FTP (nor PING) works.
