Default Can I point another domain name at my altervista webpage?

I own a .net domain name through a 3rd party (GoDaddy).

I would like to set up
    subdomain.my-GoDaddy-domain.net to redirect to lmurphy.altervista.org/somepage.php

Is it possible to do this? Is it possible to do something almost like this? Does it cost money? Where can I find English instructions on how to proceed? Do I update the GoDaddy Zone File ? What else?

    Thank you!

The only way to use an external domain with your AlterVista web space is to setup an HTTP redirect (or use a cloaking page). Ask your provider if you don't know how to setup the domain like this.
