Where do I go to purchase the second level domain? I can't seem to find any instructions.
Can you buy it from the control panel?
If you have WordPress from AlterVista, you can't buy a second level domain because WordPress shall be configured properly with the second level domain: if you want to use the AlterVista WordPress with a second level domain, you have to switch to AlterBlog account, so you'll be able to manage from Dashboard -> Domains.
(you can't switch from the AlterBlog to AlterSite account).
