Thread: InnoDB

    Exclamation InnoDB

I notice that my current phpmyadmin doesn't have the option to use InnoDB as it is currently disabled. Is there anyway for me (or you) to enable it? I wouldn't be asking but as my database tables contain foreign keys I need to use InnoDB. As of right now I can't carry on with my website until this issue has been fixed.

Any help would be much appreciated

Is this MySQL error related to the use of ENGINE=MyISAM instead of ENGINE=InnoDB ?

#1071 - Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes

This is the faulty SQL generated with php artisan migrate --pretend

    Code:
alter table `users` add unique `users_email_unique`(`email`)

No, I'm sorry, but you should have enough AlterCents to activate that service in a new account.

    Bye!
