define my own favicon

Can I link an different favicon with my AlterPages? Is there any option to write my own code in the HTML head?

This is possible, you can upload it using FTP (the filename must be favicon.ico and must be located in your website root) or create it using the favicon editor (tools->favicon editor in your AlterVista control panel)
