Footer different on different pages?

I used to have a guestbook on my website, but I decided to remove it. The guestbook was part of the footer, so it would (supposedly) appear on all pages, except now it's replaced by "The guestbook is disabled".

Here's the issue: I removed the guestbook from the footer, and yet the caption "The guestbook is disabled" is still showing on some pages. If I open the editor, the guestbook (or whatever is where the guestbook would have been) does not appear as content to be changed or removed. If I then close the editor, the caption is still there. There is no apparent way to remove this caption, even though it's part of the footer which should be the same for every page.

Yes, I tried doing that. I cleared everything except for saved passwords. The problem persists.

I've also tried using Alterpages' "Refresh site" feature and it still won't go away.

I'm using Microsoft Edge. I can try with another browser, but ideally it shouldn't matter.

It's probably the cache: try to re-clean your cache, or try with another browser/device.
Maybe you can trick Edge with "www": http://www.l33t5k37ch3r.altervista.org/
