How in the world could i install google analytics script on my site???

Hello,
I have tried the manual version by inserting the script within the head portion of header php. Google does not recognize the code. I have then manualy inserted within the body section but still google does not recognize the code.
Not all plugins could insert the code. I have installed the plugin Insert Headers and Footers still the code does not work.
There is no way to create a php file with the code to insert it into the site.
Please give me an working solution.

Do you have WordPress? Go in Widgets and drag the Text capsule in your menu, then paste the code in it....let's see if it works. Good luck !
