Can we import Wordpress site from localhost in xampp using backup zip?

Hello.

I am wondering if AlterVista can support putting a new WordPress site online using a zip file made with a backup plugin, when the site is built inside xampp in localhost?

Maybe there's a video somewhere to show how?

Or instructions?

You can do that, but I'd suggest you to install WordPress form the AlterVista control panel (you won't have to upload anything) and the to import the contents, for example by using the integrated tools which export the contents to an XML file.
