Angry I keep getting a 500 Error Wordpress

Every 2 or 3 hours i keep getting this error:
    Error 500

    An error occurred.

This error may be due to an erroneus .htaccess file, added by you or by a script in the current directory.

To access this directory again you have to correct or delete the .htaccess file. You can do it from the section files management of your control panel by clicking on the gear icon.

    Go back
    I'm running wordpress.
Here's the website maybe you people will know what to do.

    Oh and this error too:
    Destination host forbidden.

What can I do to fix them both?

    urbannews:

the 500 error is most likely due to a timeout, when your homepage is loaded your blog makes lots of server 2 server connection I guess to retrieve contents elsewehere, if one or more of the destination you are fetching data from is slow to respont it may slowdown your pages and trigger a 500 error.

As regards "Destination host forbidden" your blog is trying to fetch data from one or more domain outside AlterVista whitelist, so you have to unblock you server 2 server connection using AlterVista control panel (resources page).
