Default No Mail Notification of User Comment

I saw the last comment on my blog just by accident when I visited my CMS panel, and received no notification email for that. I was going to ask here "why" when I found out that the relevant settings boxes were unchecked.

Now I've checked them again and hope it will notify me next time, but I don't know how this (the boxes being unchecked) happened as they used to be checked and I used to receive mail notifications for every single comment waiting for my approval.

P.S. I don't share the CMS login info with anyone.

    Thank you.
I just wrote a comment and found the notification mail in my "Spam" folder (and marked it Not Spam).

    1. Why has Yahoo Mail considered the notification mail as Spam in the 1st place?
    2. Why wasn't the last "user comment" found even in the Spam folder? The comment dated just 4 days ago. I don't know how many days Yahoo let's pass before deleting Spams as I found nothing to change in the surprisingly simple Yahoo Mail settings!
    3. This one is a little unrelated but I just found and would like to ask: When I was writing my test comment, I noticed an "I'm not a robot" section to check. Has it been newly added by Altervista?

    1) 2) You should ask Yahoo
    3) Yes, recaptcha was introduced to protect the blog from spam.

    Bye!

The main theme of my thread was "why the comment mail notification boxes were unchecked".

But that's OK. I've checked them again, and as long as this doesn't happen again, who cares what unchecked them in the 1st place.

    Thanks for taking the time.
