Can I setup my domain for blog without transfer?

Hello,
I would like to use my own domain for AlterBlog. But so far, I only see 2 options which are registering and transfering domain. I'm looking for another method, using custom Name servers. I already has one connected to cloudflare. So is there anyway to do that?

I'm sorry but you can't use a domain from another server.
The only way is to import it or create a new one.

But mine still has half year of registration, does it lose if I transfer my domain?

No. The date is maintained or renewed for a year, depending on the authority of the domain.

What do you mean authority of domain? Is it a ranking or something? How do I do to know whether my domain has it or not? I've just got my domain half year ago and haven't fully use yet.

No, there is no ranking, but depends by authorities, for example verisign for .com.
