Hello my blog is not working

Hello my blog is not working , the system said they need to use recovery mode to log in my blog
and after that they send me a recovery code so i click that , after i click that they give me some options to recover my blog so i choose to convert my blog to altersite ..
what will i do ? after i convert my blog to altersite my page is not yet working
is there a chance that my altersite can covert again to my blog without erasing all my contents there ? thank

oh my site is already working again but can you tell me why that is happening ? .. so i can prevent another little heart attack again ..
