trying to use google adsense...

Your account is not correctly associated

Access to your Google AdSense control panel and allow access to Altervista in account settings, section "Third-party access". After this operation come back to this page an click "Update Status".

when i do this altervista is correctly added and yesyerday it had hits showing, but refreshing the update staus yields the same error again. Is this something that will soon correct itself or have i made an error i can't find? need help

Is AlterVista enabled on the Third-party access section? Is the AdSense account just created or have you used it before?
