FTP Passwords Being reset

Hello,

It has recently come to my attention that passwords for FTP users appear to be being reset when editing the user, even if the password field is left blank, or unchanged. I found this issue when I reset the base directory of several users, only to find they were no longer able to log in. After resetting the passwords, all is fine, so this makes me think this is a bug.

Has anyone else experienced this?
