Wordpress Multisite Support

Hello,

Could you please tell me if there is anything special I must do to activate multisite support for WordPress?

I've followed the directions on your support page to enable this function but I am greeted with:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get_current_theme_design() on a non-object in /membri/.dummy/apps/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/altervista/classes/class-av-theme-framework.php on line 9

Could you please advise as to why this is occurring? what can I do to enable this feature?

if you change your current theme, is this error still there?
