Domain

I bought a domain for my website. Is there any way for this behave like an actual domain (i.e. not just a redirect and mask)? Also, who owns the domain, me or AlterVista? Could I transfer the domain at a later time?

Drop an email to domini@[nospam]altervista.it (delete [nospam]) describing your project and why you need a II level domain.

If you bought a II livel domain, it's yours (AlterVista is only tech partner and ISP) and you can transfert it away (according to ICANN conditions).
