Search box in control panel not working

If I try to use the search box in the control panel, no matter what the search string is, no results show up -- not even a message to indicate that nothing has been found. Instead, I get that spinning icon in the search box. It keeps spinning, but nothing happens. The box itself seems to be grayed out, too.

I was only trying to find the guestbook feature. Is there a URL I could use to go directly to the guestbook feature and activate it, instead of trying to search for it?

You can find the toolbox in Tools -> Manage Guestbook.

Thanks, alemoppo, that worked! I had been looking under Tools previously, but the guestbook feature wasn't showing up there until now.
