Issues with FTP connection to my website

Hello, I'm new to building a website & i'm doing it for a class. I'm having issues getting my website to load the file i'm uploading. Whenever I upload my file through the terminal, I get a "553 Can't open that file: No such file or directory" error whenever I try to upload my file. I can access the file through the file management tab, but when I click "open" it takes me to the website URL, but the website just says "Welcome to Altervista"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update: There was an issue with the cache on Chrome. I just needed to clear that for it to be updated.
