cannot connect to server ftp

using ftp to access files on server. have not been able to connect in a couple of days.

is this a known issue and is there a timeline for a fix?

I have the same problem, have not been able to FTP any files for a couple of days now. I probed the problem by manually trying to log in at a command prompt. The FTP server does responds and asks for the account password. I enter the password and after pressing ENTER there is no response. After a minute or so the server closes the connection.

Seems to be working OK again today, so they must have fixed the FTP problem.
