Installing a forum

Hi,
I have a question. I'm in the process of waiting for my account to be deleted so I can recreate it as a regular hosting account, once I do that, do you have any suggestions on how to install a forum on my site? Do you have an auto installer like for wordpress? Hope you can help. Thank you!

t the moment, AlterVista doesn’t provide an auto-installer for forums like the one available for WordPress. However, you can install a forum manually by uploading the files and following the forum's installation instructions.
Personally, I suggest using the "Compressed archives uploader" from Resources -> File management -> Upload files -> Compressed archives uploader. With this tool, you can upload a .zip or tar.gz archive and it will be automatically extracted into your account.

Please note that you can also run a forum on WordPress by using a dedicated plugin.
