I was wondering if it would be possible to add api.darksky.net and wunderground.com could be added to the whitelist for users that have personal weather station webpages. Darksky is a weather forecasting site and wunderground.com is a popular source to store weather records.

It depends on how you connect to the site. Via FTP it is not necessary to unblock connections.

the problem is really there, I have a weatherstation plugin installed and I can not connect to my netatmo station, it says that the login is wrong when it's right! I tested it on another server and it worked without any problems.
As I saw, on the servertoserver page api's, netatmo uses api's too, is this the problem of not being able to communicate with the station?
This information appears every time I try to connect:
"Unable to connect to service."

So I guess your station does not communicate via FTP. So it probably needs to unblock the server to server connections. Did you unlock them? Which port do you use your station? (On Altervista it is possible to communicate only in 80 and 443).
