    Removing all cookies has not fix the problem.

    Hello mhlabs,

    Please try using a different browser, such as Firefox, and disabling CloudFlare.
    If you have an "Hosting with file manager" acount, you can manage CloudFlare from here: http://it.altervista.org/cplogin.php...=cloudflare.pl
    If you have "WordPress managed hosting", you can manage CloudFlare from the settings. Then enable HTTPS from the settings.

    Hello,

    It seems like website is not responding and I can't login to AlterVista control panel.
    The error message I'm receiving is "This site can’t be reached - s589.altervista.org took too long to respond."

    Any way to fix this?

    Hello,

    On your site I can see the "default" altervista homepage (you need to delete the "index.html" file). Could you please provide the URL where you see the error? Did you try with other connections?

    Since 2 September 2026 I have been unable to access my site from my home broadband connection (Utility Warehouse, UK). The site works normally when I switch to mobile data.

    The affected site resolves to 162.55.91.72 (ns542.altervista.org).

    From the affected broadband connection, TCP connections fail to all three services I have tested:

    Port 80 (HTTP): TcpTestSucceeded: False
    Port 443 (HTTPS): TcpTestSucceeded: False
    Port 21 (FTP): TcpTestSucceeded: False

    FTP likewise times out when connecting from this connection, but is accessible using mobile data.

    Traceroute reaches the Hetzner network successfully, as far as:

    ex9k1.dc18.fsn1.hetzner.com [213.133.117.176]

    after which subsequent hops time out.

    The problem has persisted overnight.

    Immediately before this began I had been testing a web application hosted under wp-content/scoreboard/ which was polling the server frequently. Is it possible that my public IPv4 address has triggered an automated firewall/rate-limit rule?

    Could you please check whether traffic from my public IP is being blocked or filtered for ns542.altervista.org?

    Your IP doesn't appear to be blacklisted at this time. Could you please privately send me your current IP address? I'm not sure I have the correct one.
