    Default Hosting SSL Certificate

    Hi,

I am new to hosting. I was advised to use AlterVista to host an item description for a marketplace which I sell in. I was given a file with documents including CSS, images, and a Chrome HTML page.

I added these into the file management area and gave the designer my altervista link. He hosted it apparently and everything was good to go. But, the item description only shows HTML coding but, no CSS.

After looking into this, he says the template settings are fine and there is nothing wrong with the CSS files or images. There is an issue with the SSL certificate it seems. This is because when visiting the style.css altervista page, it doesn't show the page doesn't exist but, it shows that the webpage cannot be reached.

    "This site can’t be reached

The webpage at https://idealgoods.altervista.org/style.css might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

    ERR_SSL_UNRECOGNIZED_NAME_ALERT"

Anyone know how I can fix this issue?

    Hi,

I had not done that and wasn't aware of that. I will try now and keep you updated.

    Thanks.
