Domain Transfer

I had sent a mail to domains@altervista.org regarding the domain(expedyte.com) transfer and they provided us with the auth code.
But when we tried to transfer our domain with the auth code it showed "expedyte.com: The domain name you specified is already in use. Please select a different domain name."
I and my partner had sent a bunch of mail regarding this and till now no response.
This is really disappointing.. We already bought a different hosting service and we are unable to transfer ...

The support dept. had unlock the domain and sent you the authcode on thursday. Can you check your email (also spam folder).
